so by example the cure on shm... so later maybe come on SACD on mini and I sell all for buy the SACD haha? dont stop top release things... the industry... for get money.

and why the labels dont again to SACD? just a few albums are on SACD, why? is a lot the diference between a SACD and SHM or ever a normal CD? I never heard a SACD.

First, it depends on the person who did the" remastering". Second, if you do not want to spend a fortune for a SACD player, the SHM is the best with a good cd player !

Sorry to bring back an old thread. But, not all SACD players cost a fortune. A Universal player from OPPO.com for example ranges from $200-$600. As with most electronics prices are coming down and most new Universal disk players coming on the market now are including SACD.

If I have a choice between CD and SACD I always go for the SACD because the sound quality is almost always better and it usually includes a 5.1 Surround track in addition to stereo. Hybrid SACDs include an additional ordinary CD track playable on any CD player. But in order to playback the SACD track a SACD compatible player is a must. I will reserve my opinion about SHM for some other time.

Also, desirable OOP SACDs easilly fetch over $100. I happen to own Kraftwerk's Minimum-Maximum OOP SACD which goes for a cool $1000!
