Any of you ever bought a Korean mini LP ? They look pretty good on the web - but how about the quality of printing and the sound ? I don't know the quality standards. The prices are pretty good and they have stuff that is hard to get sometimes.

Yes, I have some not released at Japan, like Lookaftering from Bashti Bunyan. And the first 14 released by Universal (blue and white obi) of classic albums: Hendrix, Elton John, Rolling S, Police, Cream, Dreke & D, Marley, Clapton, S. Wonder. These are nice but not as good quality of the same albums released in Japan.

I have bought some too and they are fine. I can't really comment on the sound - although I do have Goodbye Yellow Brick Road so I should so a comparison (I plan to create a photo page with all the versions I know of including "official fake", Koyean, Russian (real fake), Japanese, SHM, another?). I'll have a closer look at covers when I do that (sigh - if only I had the time). Sam.

I've just received this mini LP from Korea : The Shiver - Walpurgis. I must say that the item is quite well made : gatefold, textured cover, 2 sided poster and of course the disc itself, silkscreened and all. Very nice presentation and the sound is just great as well.
Dan.

DU-BOX075 : 2006-04-06 Two titles only (CTCD-541 and 542) - may have been a Captain Trip box? Can hold up to 8? CDs. |
LIST-007 : 2006-02-07 This is a work in progress project and due to its size it will take some time to finish.
Book cover images from different countries are welcome (or the ones included but with better image resolution).

VICP-63335 : 2006-02-22 English language version of the earlier native Italian "L'Isola di niente" on ELP's Manticore label. As with the earlier English rehash of PFM's "Per un amico" the lyrics were for the most part re-written (not translated) by Pete Sinfield of King Crimson. |
WPCR-13517 : 2009-07-22 "Finally after 36 years a correct version not only printed beautifully but also opening like a book, as it should." (Roger Dean)
The first reproduction of the original UK booklet style cover (however comes on 2 not 3 CDs). Earlier releases of this (AMCY-2733 and AMCY-6293) were created in the US "accordion" style. | |

DU-BOX045 : 2005-09-28 Tarkus promo box and obis released to accompany the first K2 24 bit release of the first five ELP albums.
