differences between first press and re-release 13 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
I've been picking up the Uriah Heep K2 24-bit mini lps but I don't know how to tell the difference between a first press (2006) and a re-release (2007) mini lp. I don't read japanese and so I can't tell if it's on the obi. I purchased a few used minis off ebay that were supposed to be first press but they look identical to the mini lps that were supposedly released in 2007. Are first presses supposed to have the Santuary logo or the Bronze logo like the original vinyl? I read a description of these cds on a vendors site that stated they had the original artwork and gave the impression that these were replicas of the original albums. I've tried to get some answers from sellers on ebay but they haven't been much help. I'd like to know how they can tell if a mini lp is a 2006 or a 2007 release. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with this particular release but, in my experience, a change as significant as new disc artwork would be a new release not just a repress.
