I've been waiting on the latest releases of 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway', 'Selling England By The Pound' and 'Foxtrot' etc. on SACD and I'm wondering if they'll be availlable as mini lps and when?

hi Alexxx,

the Peter Gabriel Era albums will be released on mini lps as well.

The way it works is that the SACD box on regular jewel case CD gets released in Europe and then 1 month odd later Disk Union releases the box with the CDs from Virgin / Charisma.

Wait, are you saying that all the Peter Gabriel SACD albums are getting released in Mini-LP form? Do you have a date for that?

Time to start listing those old ones while they're still valuable I think...

They were rumoured as being released late last year (at least that's when I expected them). The Genesis website (link above thanks Arvind) says "Winter 2007/2008". I guess that now needs to be revised. One can only hope they will be this year sometime.

according to the latest information the release date for the Peter Gabriel era Genesis discs is January 28, 2009...
plus, that will be hybrid CD/SACDs playable on both CD and SACD players...

Each sliding box has a picture from 1 member of the band. On top of the boxes, you find part of the logo that is on the inside of the 2112 cd. Once you put the 3 boxes one beside another, you have the complete logo.
