Deep Purple - Live In Japan / Made in Japan (1972)

Deep Purple - Live In Japan / Made in Japan

WPCR-13113 (2008)

Very confusing release this one but it covers most bases. The CD and inserts are labelled "Live In Japan" and it is advertised as such in native Japan (which is what it was originally released as there). The cover and spine call it "Made in Japan". It also comes with an insert (slipped into the front of the obi when originally packaged) with the Japanese cover.

Obi:Slip band over front of gatefold cover.
Cover:Gatefold. Also comes with a gatefold sheet showing (I assume) the exterior and interior of the Japanese release of this album "Live in Japan".
Inserts (as per original):35mm film negative showing the band in concert. Show here is No.31. It appears likely to have been shot at one of the 3 Japanese concerts.
Inserts (additional):The English lyric sheet, which includes a Japanese blurb (perhaps this was in fact an original Japanese insert) includes black white version of a shot very similar (but not identical) to the negative shown here.
Lyrics:Japanese and English on separate sheets.
