One of the earliest releases (arguably the earliest release) of Eno's "Before and After Science" included a standard LP vinyl disc but came in a cover branded "Polydor Deluxe 2302 071". These releases included four colour lithographs in a grey folder by Peter Schmidt.
These early releases included the following note on the back cover:
"The prints were made at Westerham Press in Kent on a Roland 4B four colour offset machine and printed on Royal Cornwall Cover 160 GSM 'Book White'.
The printing was supervised by Hansjorg Mayer."
The Japanese Mini-LP release is pressumably of an early alternate release and shows the lithographs on the back cover in colour. The prints were not included in the version that this release is based on. It includes the following alternate text:
"A folder, measuring 190mm x 303mm, containing four offest prints of the pictures is available from Peter Leay, 9, Sunbury Road, Wallaset, Chesire upon receipt of £1.50 including postage. It was made at Westerham Press in Kent on a Roland 4B four colour offset machine and printed on Royal Cornwall Cover 160 GSM 'Book White'.
The printing was supervised by Hansjorg Mayer."
By 1983 the prints were understandably no longer available. The version of this album included in the retrospective box set "Working Backwards, 1983-1973" makes no reference to their availability.
