Rolling Stones (The) - Some Girls

TOCP-66456 (2005)

Not quite the original die-cut cover - but as close as you can legally get - as the original was recalled due to issues with some artists (or their estates) not being too happy about being flaunted along side a 1950's lingerie advertisement.

Manufacturer: EMI
This version released:2005-08-31
Original LP release:1978.06
Obi:Green and red common to and unique to all releases in the "Bigger Bang" box set.

Die cut outer single sleeve. The faces on the front cover have been cut out to allow other faces to be viewed through the holes (either with or without lipstick).

The original covers had some variety in the colouring of the outer sleeve (this one being a copy of a brighter variety).

Cover Concept and Design: Peter Corriston.

Inserts (as per original):

Inner sleeve with indenti-kit faces of band members. It also includes the words "Pardon our appearance. Cover under reconstruction." etc that appeared on the 1978 reissue following recall.

The original inner sleeve was recalled following problems with some of the notable personalities whose faces where used.

Lyrics:Japanese and English on thin black and white paper foldout.
