Hailed by many as Pink Floyd's best work this is a concept rock opera album from 1979. Fine reproduction of the full lavish gatefold album cover including 4 record labels (sides A and B from the two vinyl discs).

Audio quality etc:The CDs for this release are a little unusual as they do not have the usual catalogue number printed on the shinny side of the disc. See Gav's Pink Floyd CD ScaNZ for details.
 
Packaging
Obi:Matches front cover.
Cover:

Gatefold. Plain cover (just the bricks). The writing seen in the image (band name and album title) comes on a clear plastic sheet.

Sleeve design by Gerald Scarfe and Roger Waters.

Inserts (as per original):Inner sleeves (2) one for each CD. Has lyrics for each disc, each side of inner sleeve dedicated to one side of the vinyl release.
Inserts (additional):
  1. Vinyl labels (4 - one for each side of the vinyl release).
  2. Standard Japanese paper foldout.
  3. 2 page foldout - glossy cover - same images as the front and back album cover with a 1975-1979 chronology / biography of events for the band in Japanese (covers the albums "Wish You Were Here", "Animals", "The Wall"). It also mentions other solo releases for this period.
Lyrics:Japanese and English on standard paper foldout. Also English on inner sleeves but pretty hard to read.
