Judas Priest - Best Of Judas Priest

VICP-63280 (2006)

Compilation mixing the two first albums of Priest (Sad Wings Of Destiny and Rocka Rolla) remastered using K2-HD 24 bits. Despite the influences of other bands are evident, the band is building here the music structures a lot of bands would imitate later and Rob Halford voice is awesome.

Release Details
Manufacturer: Victor
Mastering:K2 HD 24bit (2006)
Channels:Stereo
Format:CD
This version released:2006-01-12
Original LP release:1978
Genre:Heavy Metal
Audio quality etc:In spite of the original masters are more than 30 years old, K2HD makes a good job here. I own a regular edition of Rocka Rolla and songs here from that album are louder and clear, without losing dynamic range. As well, "spatial sound" is amazing in some songs (Victim Of Changes or The Ripper for example) and if you listen to them with a Dolby PL surround system, you will be able to hear Rob Halford singing arround you.
