PG5. Despite the track list on the cover and lyrics on the original sleeve, this is the 2002 remastered version of the landmark 1986 album from PG.

Editor Comments

Track listing and audio is as per the 2002 remaster (original CD, album order for side 2 shown in brackets). That is:

  6. Big Time (7,7)
  7. We Do What We're Told - milgram's 37 (8,8)
  8. This is the Picture - excellent bird's (9,-)
  9. In Your Eyes (5,5)

The bonus track ("This is the Picture - excellent birds" co-composed and featuring vocals by Laurie Anderson - an alternate version of which can be found on her excellent "Mister Heartbreak" album from the previous year) was available on the original CD but not the vinyl (hence it is not listed on the cover).

If you know the original version of this CD or vinyl you may find the track order a little disconcerting but the remastering, although significant in parts, is not disappointing. (The un-remastered version is still available from womad.com).
