Having quite cheerfully imported CD's from Japan for a number of years I got a VAT and a Parcel Force handling fee on my last import.
I understand that VAT is payable on all goods and I'm OK to pay whats due, however I do resent the handling charges by a company that I did not request. It seems that from talking to a very nice man in VAT that we are saddled with PF and have to pay the subsequent fee, which is twice as much as the VAT. Anybody have the answer?
