UCCI-9034 (2001)

Superb 1960 album from the famous arranger/composer, featuring Elvin Jones, Ron Carter and a few other much less famous names. Bit of a strange item - while the OBI says it's 24bit remastered, the CD says it's 20bit and that it's made in Europe.

Thanks Duckman, As noted in the "editor comments" this was bought from Tower Records. Also, TrippingOverGod mentions that these are scans of a reprint. Perhaps the reprints used EU stock for the CDs? Does anyone have an original (Aug-2001) Mini LP release and does it have the UCCI label?

the cd included, is not the real thing. I have compared it's lay out with one of the Impulse best 50 I have (Impressions) and this is made in Japan and shows the corresponding UCCI-... label. The seller has taken a EU (digipack ?) cd to complete the deal.

Does anyone else have a copy and can they confirm that their CD also has this error? I bought my copy new from the Tower Records in London so there's not really any chance of mine being second hand or from a fake source, so I'm presuming they must all be like this.
