The first of the flapped series of covers - folds down to maximize damage to the vinyl.

This also the first appearance of the Carpenters logo created by Craig Braun - the same man who created the famous tongue logo for the Rolling Stones and Alice Cooper's "Schools Out".

Cover printed as POCM-9042 (POCM-9053).

The Carpenters logo is embossed and the sides and flap of the cover are also embossed enhancing the "envelope" appearance.

The family portrait inside has an embossed (raised) edge to it.
