Cacophony - Speed Metal Symphony

KICP-91504 (2010)

Cardboard sleeve reissue from CACOPHONY. Features the 2010 digital remastering. Includes new liner notes. Part of a two-album CACOPHONY cardboard sleeve reissue series featuring albums "Speed Metal Symphony" and "Go Off!" I've compared the sound-wave with the original CD edition and it'has come into the "loudness war" but the sound is not bad at all.

Audio quality etc:The sound is very loud, even reaching clipping. It seems that every record label wants to win the "loudness war", nowaday. Anyway, the sound is not bad at all, despite of the original album sound wasn't good. I own the vinyl record.

Lyrics:Lyrics included despite of they weren't in the original LP, at least in mine.

Cacophony had a short career, only two albums, but this didn't prevent to the band to get great popularity. The main members of the band were both guitar players, Jason Becker and Marty Friedman. Friedman became Megadeth member.
