First self titled album from Jim Morrison and The Doors.

There are 3 versions of all six albums released around this time (2000):
1. the single EU version (with bar code),
2. the Japanese repackaged version of the EU release (ie. also with bar code) which includes an obi and lyric booklet in Japanese and English, and
3. the version released in the box set "The Complete Studio Recordings Box Set" (with no bar code). The box set version has a different number on the CD and back cover / spine.

The much later 2007 versions of the cover were Japanese productions with slip on type obis as per The Doors +3. A Warner Brothers' box was also available with the 2007 release (see Perception Box) but only in Japan on surrendering coupons clipped from the stickers on the plastic covers (as can be seen from scans of the 2007 releases shown on this site).
